Kevin joined Summit Group of Virginia in 2016 after a remarkable 20-year career representing insurance companies. His experience as an actuary, underwriter, and national sales leader has proven to be an irreplaceable asset for Summit Group clients. In an industry full of narrow margins, Kevin’s background provides unique insight on plan design, experience review, rate negotiation and implementation which widens the gap and sets our firm apart. Kevin is recognized as an industry expert by his peers and participates in many insurance carrier forums to help shape the Life and Disability marketplace. Since Kevin’s arrival, no Summit Group client has incurred a rate increase of their Group Life, Long-Term Disability or Short-Term Disability benefits.
Kevin is a graduate of Bowdoin College, playing football for four years and serving as captain his senior year. Kevin was one of the first insurance professionals to receive the Group Benefits Disability Specialist (GBDS) designation.
